A friend of mine wears skirts all the time, and sometimes, simple skirts are great to throw on in the summer when I'm shopping or out with friends.
I ordered the swing skirt in black. It would go with everything, I reasoned, and it looks like a good basic skirt. The only problem was that it's so popular that they were sold out, but eventually my skirt arrived and to my delight, it was perfect. In fact, I've worn it a lot and I'm not even a skirt kind of girl. The material is light and falls well, but it's also substantial so I'm not worrying about it being see through in the sun. The skirt washes up well, and the best part? I can dress it up a little if I need to, or throw on a tank top and sandals and it's a great run around town or wear to a BBQ kind of skirt as well.
When I had to pack to go somewhere, the skirt folded up really small and was great for throwing in my bag for a quick motorcycle trip, and it didn't get all wrinkly and frumpy looking either. In all our travels I've looked for a lot of vacation clothes for women, and don't always find things that look good and will keep from getting all creased up in my bag. I would highly recommend the swing skirt as a women's travel skirt if you want to have something cute to wear that doesn't take up a lot of space.
Fresh Produce ships to Canada, but I would check about having to pay duty or brokerage fees, so you don't have any surprises. They also offer Plus Sizes, kids clothes, and accessories, which can all be kind of fun. When I first ordered my skirt, I misjudged the sizing and ended up with a swing skirt in grey, which is now sitting in my closet, completely unworn. I offered to ship it back, but Fresh Produce encouraged me to give it away.
So, I have this skirt in a size XS, (check out the sizing chart here for measurements) in a medium grey color. Any takers? Let me know in the comments. Whoever nabs it first if you live in Canada, it's yours!
Disclosure: Fresh Produce did not pay me for this post. They asked me to choose something from their site and try it out, which I did-and love!
