Wasn't that a Party!?!

Wow, this weekend has been mind boggling. I am really humbled by the response to the blog and twitter parties. Did you know this is the first time Mrs. Q and I ever hosted one? There were many long conversations, lots of nail biting (on my part), and long hours at this computer putting everything together.

I am amazed at the power of all of you, and the passion you have for lunch. Watch out world, we parents are revolutionaries!

Mrs. Q and I decided that this was so much fun, we may do another Twitter party in January to shake you all up again for school lunches in the New Year.

I also want to thank our amazing sponsors.

If it wasn't for their generous support, their posts on their Facebook pages, cheering on Twitter, highlighting our cause, the party would not have been what it was. They were so generous with the prizes, and I'm very grateful to them for that. I was a fan of theirs before, and I'm even MORE of a fan now.

I also want to thank all of YOU. A party isn't a party without friends, family, community, people who are willing to share food and dance on the tables. You all came out in force and supported our Lunch Revolution, supported each other, and that warms my heart. I have the most amazing readers on this blog, and I sincerely want to thank every single one of you for coming here and reading me, leaving me comments that make me smile, and for being such a fantastic community. You really are the best.

I've tried to sit and type out the winners, but the truth is, there's just so MANY of you that it's taking me a long time and I am exhausted. This partying completely wiped me out. Now I have 35 lbs of tomatoes in my kitchen inviting in fruit flies, school is coming, I have a blog job to work on, trips to the city, and more. If you won, I sent you an message via twitter or email and asked you to email me. Most of you have. I passed your email addresses onto all our lovely sponsors and they will be in touch.

If you didn't win, I have a giveaway coming up soon in the next few weeks. Watch for a Lunch Revolution in January. You are all invited. Bring your friends! Your family!

I need a rest now.

If you need a laugh, go check out my tomato porn. We found those in the farmers market last week, and Jake stood by the bin laughing so hard I swore he was going to pee himself. Especially when I found a bunch of the tomatoes with...protrusions, and I lined them up on the side of the bin.

See? Even I'm 14 sometimes.
