Hey! Many of you are coming to Notes from the Cookie Jar as part of the 5 Minutes for Mom Ultimate Blog party. Welcome!
Coffee? Tea? Or how about a snack? It's not a party without cupcakes, if you ask me...
And someone asked about COOKIES...so here you go...
I'm so not responsible if there are tongue marks on your monitor.
Let me tell you a bit about Notes From the Cookie Jar:
-We're close to Vancouver, BC Canada. Living on the West Coast is wonderful and we love it, even though it rains a lot. We're a super active family and can often be found outdoors hiking, rock hounding, and going on 8000 km adventure road trips through the Western USA. On tap this year? We're going rock hounding in South Dakota, whitewater rafting on the Colorado river, and 4x4ing in Utah.
-I'm Mom to a 14 year old boy. Actually if you want to get technical, I've been mom to many, many teenagers because my Hubs ran a therapeutic group home for teenage boys when we were first married. For 10 years I was the foster Mom. We've been married for 17 years!
-If you click on the recipes link, it will take you to my other site; Recipes From the Cookie Jar. There's about 500 recipes over there, with everything from baking to dinners and links to free meal plans at Everything Mom.com, where I'm the meal planning editor. I love to cook, as you can see! I don't think you'll find a bigger collection of cookie recipes on any other blog on the Web.
-I have TWO contests going on here, too! First one is the Royale Renocation where you can enter to win $100 in gift certificates (Canadians only)Head on over and put down your name and your dream reno-cation on THIS post. (NOT here! Click on the link, please)
The second one is Food Revolution Fridays (Canadians AND Americans only), based on Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution. You can win a free copy of Kid's Kitchen or a super cute Crocodile Creek bib. Make sure to get all the details over at THIS post. You have lots of time to enter!
So pull up a chair, have a cupcake, and let's chat!

PSS...I blame the iPod touch. It's like crack. I never put it down. Hubs looks at it and gets the death glare.
