Food Revolution Fridays: Jamie's Crunchy Garlic Chicken

In case you missed it last week, I made Jamie's Mexican Bean wraps (yummy)! They were super easy, fast, and super cheap to make. Your teenagers or older kids could easily whip them up for the family. They also made really great lunchbox items.

This week, I tried Jamie's Crunchy Garlic Chicken.

Okay I know that chicken looks a little pink-it was cooked, but the light was a bit off for the photo. Honest!

Okay Mr. Jamie Oliver, you have won my family and I over. Completely. I mean, it's one thing to have recipes but ones that are FAST (which has totally saved my life lately), EASY (I love to cook but my brain is tired by dinner time), but really delicious, too?

Sold!

These are garlicky and crunchy, with a bit of lemon, and are really delicious. WAY better than those pre-packaged things you shake your chicken in, according to Jake (who is a die hard Shake n' Bake fan). You will find my version of the recipe over here. We even had the leftovers cold for lunch and they were scarfed down faster than you can imagine.

What are you thinking of the show so far? I love how now when you go to the site, people from all over the world can sign the petition! There are recipes, downloadable forms for kitchen hygiene and basic things your pantry should have, an iPhone app, and even create some stickers to start your own food revolution.

What'cha waiting for? Let's get cooking!
