Every March, for the past four years, I've gotten sick. I'm not sure exactly what triggers it, but the mysterious illness that has come and gone for the past few years almost always makes an appearance around Spring Break or Easter.
This year, I'm being pro-active. I have slight symptoms practically year round, but this year, I'm not just waiting for it to strike. I'm going to take the next month to really take care of myself, and possibly for the first time in four years I'll have an illness free March.
So here's my plan:
-eat super healthy and cut out the junk
-walk/get some exercise and fresh air every single day
-sleep at least 8 hours a night
Sounds easy really, but there's one last thing. I'm going to take a break from blogging for the month of March as well so that I can really focus on relaxing and my family. I was inspired by Brian from Looky Daddy, and his February hiatus. He has a break, why not me? Why not take the month where I have a nice Spring Break holiday, plus my birthday and just...be, hopefully curtailing the nasty illness that has left me nearly incapacitated every spring?
I will be posting a picture now and then to show you what I'm doing, or I might update via Twitter now and then, so watch for me there. There will, however, be no long, wordy, blog posts.
Hopefully I'll come back refreshed and inspired, with a new focus and full of new ideas and things to share with you!
