Fabulicious Friday Five #31 Books, Movies, Britney, and the Man in Red

1. Are you an Inkheart fan? Inkdeath was released recently!

Cornelia Funke's Inkheart was the book that drew Jake into the world of fantasy fiction, and he has been eagerly awaiting the release of Inkdeath for months. Third in the trilogy, it promises to be a good one!

Ooo and not just that, Inkheart the movie is being released in January! Go see the trailer! We are huge Brendan Fraser fans and can't wait!

2. This you already know unless you've been living under a rock: Twilight the movie opens today!

Read a review of the movie from Parent Previews.
Or you could just watch the trailer...
And then there's the official site....

Ya, that should keep you all busy, hmmm?

3. Itchin' to see the Man in Red? Go to Vancouver's Santa Claus Parade

Jake and I will be missing the parade this year, but if you are in the Vancouver area, we highly recommend it! Get there early and find a good spot on Georgia and Howe, then sit back with an eggnog latte from Starbucks and enjoy the fun!

When: December 7th at 1:00 pm

4. What I'm Reading: Reena: A Father's Story

Despite the notation on Amazon that this books hasn't been released yet, I saw it on a ferry a few weeks ago and then had the chance to borrow it from a local library. While an easy read, this tragic story tugs at your heart strings. Having been a foster parent for 10 years myself, this story is sadly not nearly as unusual as it may seem.

5. Guilty Pleasure: Britney's For the Record Documentary

We've seen her rise to the top, lose it all, and now? Things seem to be going good for her. I'm not really a fan, but it's nice to see that the media is laying off and she's getting her life together. Watch her documentary, if just out of pure curiosity, on MTV Nov.30th.
