Fabulicious Friday #27

It's almost October and already some people are getting ready for Halloween! Just to get you in the mood here's some early Halloween and Canadian Thanksgiving things to check out...

1. Halloween Fun on and off line: Hershey's Trick or Treat site

I quite enjoyed clicking around this site-there's screen savers and clip art, costume ideas, crafts, coloring pages, pumpkin carving stencils, ideas for party planning, and even recipes. Go check it out!

2. Make Your Own Pumpkin Patch: Crayola's Plump Pumpkin Craft

Super cute and really easy, whip up a bunch of your own tiny gourds to decorate small spaces around the house!

3. The Ultimate Halloween Goddess: Martha Stewart's Halloween Workshop

Love her or hate her, let's face it; Martha has fantastic ideas. Where else would you see the how-to for a severed finger invitation? For everything from costumes to party ideas, crafts and food, get your Halloween on by browsing through the site. Whether you are all thumbs or a Martha wanna be, it's full of fantastic stuff.

4. Last Chance at Summer: It's Play Land's Last Weekend!

Take your last shot at summer and head on out to Playland for it's final weekend this summer! Enjoy the rides and cotton candy one last time before Play Land closes down until Fright Nights opens from Oct. 16-Nov. 1, 2008

5. Fun Fall Activity: Meadows Maze

This isn't just your average, run of the mill farm in Pitt Meadows, BC with a corn maze; this is an adventure! With everything from a bee observatory to train rides, petting zoo and mini maze for the little ones, there is plenty for the whole family to do. I may be a bit early too, but October 11 is Cranberry Day at the farm with all sorts of fun things like tours of the cranberry bog and a free cranberry sauce kit. Cool!
