Fabulicious Friday #12

1. Environmentally Friendly-ism: The Story of Stuff
Got a lot of stuff? It seems like we all do; my garage is full of it. This 20 minute long informative video tells you about how items go from production to consumption, then to the land fill and how it's hurting our planet. Very well done and without a preachy tone to it, Annie Leonard talks about how things have changed over the past 50 years and how we have the power to change it. It just may inspire you!

2. Dad's Day is June 15th!
Looking for something fun to do with Dad? If he's into music, there is a Celtic concert happening at Beacon Hill Park, Victoria. Check out this link for more information and to find out what time to be there, call Ceilidh In the Park at (250) 361-0358.

3. Calling all X-Files Fans: A new X-Files movie is coming!
Do you believe? We get a real taste of it this summer after we spend a week in Roswell, New Mexico and drive past Area 51...and then Mulder and Scully are back at hunting down those other wordly creatures in the movie theater! Now that's one movie we'll just have to go to the theater for...that is...if we make it back from Roswell without being kidnapped by aliens....

4. Techie Countdown: The iPhone is coming to Canada July 11
That hot little gadget will finally be available to Canadians, and at only $199, even! Wow!
