We are Home Safe and Sound. Yes. ALL of us.

As you can see we all returned from the forest safe and sound. I'm a little disappointed though, because I was leading up to letting you know what is out and about in these parts that is making the forest so...um...interesting these days, but my digital camera is out of batteries.

And so commences the battery hunt. I went to London Drugs and quizzed the clerk, who looked like he could be my offspring, about what sort of batteries to buy. He assured me that I could buy any brand of rechargeable batteries. So I did and much to my disappointment, they aren't working. Or, at least I don't think they are. I've consulted the Kodak website, I've lovingly whispered to my camera docking station/recharging thingy, I phoned my stepdaughter for tips, and nothing is happening.

Stupid technology. You'll have to wait while I figure out what the hell I'm doing wrong.

Anyway the upside is that after an entire month of my child 'adjusting' to grade six (read: daily meltdowns, horrendous attitude, and me considering drinking-Kidding!) the storm seems to have passed. He's been really pretty darn decent the last few days. Maybe it was the fact that I told him that since he was so impossible to live with, I was taking him to the doc for a blood test to make sure nothing is medically wrong. One look at that needle and he's..um...make a complete turnaround.

Hmmm....coincidence? I'm wondering.
