Living within view of the Georgia Strait on Canada's West Coast, I have a passion for healthy food, cooking, and baking that nearly equals my passion for writing. Notes From the Cookie Jar began in April 2006 when curiosity got the better of me and I decided to figure out what this "blogging thing" was.
A self-professed Twitter addict, I have a tendency to whip up decadent concoctions in my kitchen and then tease my twitter followers with drool worthy photos. If I meet you in real life, I'm likely to show up with a batch of cookies. Strictly food content can be found at Chasing Tomatoes.
Food and writing are my passions. I dream to write like famed Stuart Mclean, and enjoy my kitchen creations like Nigella Lawson.
When I'm not baking or writing, you can find me corralling my teenager, or camera in hand, enjoying the outdoors. I love photography, nature, road trips, anything that has a sense of adventure, and coffee.
I live for coffee.
